DOT application on Tug

Typical application of DOT 30 system on oval shaped lower accommodation level:

• Safe access on deck level within bullwark
• Sound usage of accommodation with daylight.

Below is a typical General Arrangement shown

for a 30 ton BP harbour tug of approx 20 m length.

The strength is validated with Finite Element Calculations

• For a sideward load of 60 ton (2x SWL of 30 ton)
• Supporting structure modelled as shown
• All stress levels below yield value
